Even though most of our schools have been in session for weeks, summer is still upon us in all its sunshiny goodness. It could be sweltering hot for another month and a half, but some local summer events and activities will be closing down for the season. Take advantage of this summer fun before it's too late!
Last Chance for Summer Fun:
Farmer's Markets - The perfect place for farm-to-table in-season produce, famers markets are going strong and have adapted to pandemic standards. Most outdoor markets will go into September, but check out our Farmer's Market Guide for specific dates and details.
Sunflowers - What says summer like a whole field of sunflowers? Nehemiah Ranch offers various u-pick days and times--see their Facebook page for more info. Book a photo session or check out the Sunflower Festival at Beasley's Orchard.
Ice Cream - Catch a cool treat while the weather is still warm! See what we love at our favorite local ice cream shops.
Pools & Waterparks - Public pools & Splash Pads got a late start this year, so it's hard to believe it's almost time for them to close! See our Pools & Waterparks Guide for details.
Splash Pads - Check out the 2020 Splash Pad Guide for info on local splash pad dates and times.
Creek Stompin' - Find a creek to splash in while the water and weather are still warm enough for bare feet and soaked clothes.
