Right now the weather is looking warmer for Spring Break, but a lot of rain in the forecast. In addition to our full calendar, here are some ideas for fun if you are sticking around for Spring Break.
Get Creative:
* KidzArt Camp: Sign up for classes in art instruction at The Well Community Center. Click article for more details.
* Canvas Paintings by Katie: Craft Make and Take, March 27.
* One for MOM- because you deserve a break too. Wineglass Wednesday, March 22.
Be Adventurous:
* Wilderness Survival Camp at McCloud. Ages 8-12. 3/23 or 3/30
* Come see us at the Midwest Outdoor Expo- we have a booth near the kids zone: March 24-26
Our "we have no plans but we gotta get out of the house today" ideas:
* Remember our Indoor Playground article for those rainy days (confirm openings before going)
* Head to the city! The Indy Loop Macaroni Kid has a full calendar of events mostly inside 465.
A Couple of Day Trips Ideas
Sandbar Indoor Beach. Surprise your kids with a trip to the beach! Only this one is in Covington, IN about 1 - 1.5 hours away. Current Hours (subject to change) Wed/Th- 10am-4pm; Fri/Sat- 10am-5pm.
Bloomington, IN- we recently took a trip here thanks to Visit Bloomington and it quickly became of our favorite places.
