NEW NAME! SAME FUN! THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT SCOUT CAMP FORMERLY CALLED "SCOUT OVERNIGHTER FOR GIRLS" AND "GIRL SCOUT OVERNIGHTER." WE'RE JUST GIVING IT A SHORTER AND MORE FUN NAME!
Grab your sleeping bag! We are allowing female scouts -- Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, female BSA scouts, and female Navigators -- and their chaperones a unique opportunity to pitch their tents and spend the night at McCloud Nature Park! Several campsites, each with its own campfire, will provide a temporary home to have fun with your troop. Scouts are welcome to participate in naturalist-led activities, and scout leaders are also encouraged to lead their scouts in activities around the park. Bring something to cook for dinner, and we’ll provide s’mores and a continental breakfast!
For female scouts ONLY. All levels of Girl Scouts, American Heritage Girls, female BSA scouts, and female Navigators are welcome. However, no tag-alongs or non-scout children will be permitted. Chaperones must be either scout leaders or the legal guardians of attending female scouts.
FEE: $15/scout; $7/chaperone
Check in on Saturday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Check out on Sunday by 11 a.m.
