I don't know about you, but our playroom is currently filled with toys my boys haven't touched in several months (30%), cheap trinkets they've won at arcades or got in fast food meals (20%), toys and games they've gotten as birthday gifts and likely haven't opened (20%), and books and "discovery" toys I wish they'd play with more (30%)... and it's 100% a hassle. Gifting kids (or spouses, friends, or extended family members) experiences instead of things reduces clutter AND gives more than a year's worth of memories, new skills, and happiness.
