Feature: Fun and Bonding Through Zumbini

Littles and parents will love these new classes!

By Kristin Fouts September 21, 2022

When her first daughter was a toddler in 2020, Avon mom Molly Mathews searched for opportunities for them to spend meaningful time together outside the house. A former nurse, Molly wanted an activity where they both could be active, meet others and let her little one achieve important developmental milestones.

A post on Facebook introduced Molly to Zumbini, a program focused on music and movement for children ages 0-4, which addresses development in four areas: cognitive, social, emotional and fine/gross motor. A free class on the North side of Indy was being offered, so Molly signed up. And then the pandemic set in. The class was cancelled, but Molly was still intrigued. She investigated the company and discovered she could get certified as a trainer.

Now Molly has two young girls and they LOVE helping her practice her new passion! This Summer, Molly has been leading Zumbini sessions at a local women's shelter. Starting October 1, she will host 45-minute sessions three days a week at TDP Dance Studio in Avon (5250 US Highway 36, Suite 180). Here are important details if you are interested in participating:
