Hendricks College Network’s (HCN) annual Hendricks County College & Career Fair and Apprenticeship & Trades Fair will take place at Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds & Conference Complex on Thursday, March 9 from 6-8 p.m. For the second year in a row these two great fairs will take place on the same grounds, on the same day, at the same time.
The College & Career Fair will take place in the Expo Hall while the Apprenticeship & Trades Fair will be in the Auditorium.
“This annual event has come a long way! In years past, we had each fair in person and on different dates. When COVID hit, we had to hold each of them virtually, and like so many other organizations, we began evaluating the future of our events.” said Brandy Wethington Perrill, Executive Director of Hendricks College Network. “Last year we decided to take a chance and provide BOTH FAIRS at the fairgrounds on the same night in hopes that students and families would explore the vast career pathways available. With both events at the same complex, the community had the opportunity to visit with 125+ education and training providers as well as employers offering training and there were 600 individuals in attendance at the event.”
HCN is on track to have 150 vendors join the fairs this year and anticipates many students and community members gathering valuable information on education and career opportunities.
